Description: At first glance, Gila Bend looks the same: a small town, centered around a central road, like so many other rural towns in Southwestern US. Finding the exact location for the rephoto proved to be particularly difficult. First, to take the picture, we had to stand in the middle of the road, which was probably less busy in the 1950-1960s than now. Second, our landmark- the Texaco sign- was misleadin
